Crafts for the 4th of July Holiday!

Uncle Sam:


Supplies:

  • 8 large popsicle sticks
  • Red, White, and Blue paint
  • Cotton Balls
  • Silver Star Stickers
  • Elmer’s Glue
  • Black Sharpie
  • Paint Brushes


Instructions:

  1. Paint 3 of your popsicle sticks white only halfway down
  2. Paint 3 of your popsicle sticks red only halfway down
  3. Paint 1 of your popsicle sticks completely red 
  4. Paint 1 of the popsicle sticks completely blue
  5. Wait for the paint to dry
  6. Glue 3 red and 3 white popsicle sticks in an alternating pattern
  7. Take blue popsicle stick and cut to fit across the length of the 6 sticks you glued together
  8. Glue blue popsicle stick horizontally where the paint stops (halfway down)
  9. Glue red popsicle stick under blue popsicle stick
  10. Glue cotton balls around the unpainted edges of popsicle sticks 
  11. Draw a face for Uncle Sam!


Fingerprint Fireworks

Supplies:

  • Multi colored paint
  • Worksheet 


Instructions:


  1. Go to pinterest and download the Fingerprint worksheet (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/410460953594406415/)
  2. Dip your child's fingerprint or thumbprint into a color
  3. In each of the circles on the worksheet put a fingerprint
  4. Change the color of your paint and repeat until all circles are filled
