PMC ALL STAR: Lori!

Lori initially came to PMC for physical therapy. She had an illness, hospitalization, and she was having a hard time with some things that she used to be able to do with ease. By not being able to do some things, Lori's daily life was being impacted in a major way. Lori worked hard and ended up doing so well that she eventually graduated from physical therapy. Upon graduation from PT,  Lori entered into our Physical Health & Wellness Program (PHWP) working with Ms. Olivia C.! Lori is a sweet and sassy lady who brings spunk and spreads her sparkle everywhere she goes!

Lori's sister, Lynn, shared:

"Lori’s story begins in September of 2021 when she was diagnosed with Covid. She was on oxygen and in ICU for 22 days. When she came home, she was still on oxygen and she could only walk 4-5 steps before needing to sit down. Lori no longer could walk up or down stairs. Fast forward to present, Lori’s back to her old self, no oxygen and strength level is back to normal with the help of PMC! We can’t say enough about all of the staff! Everyone has shown so much attention, care and love to Lori. Lori's whole family is so thankful for everyone at PMC!"

Ms. Olivia C. has really enjoyed working with Lori:
"Lori is a light to PMC! She is a rockstar in everything she does! She has made so much progress since having COVID last year and is getting even stronger than she was even before she had it! She makes my days brighter and is a trooper with everything we do. We started off needing multiple breaks when walking and now we are walking almost 2 laps around the building consecutively! Amazing job Lori, keep up the great work!" - Ms. Olivia C.

We cannot wait to see where Lori goes from here!
