When Max first started seeing us, he would refuse to put any weight on his feet and would pull them up when placed in a weight bearing position. While his toes continue to be his favorite toy, he is now getting much more confident with keeping his feet down in sitting and accepting weight. A couple weeks ago, he even started trying to push up to stand. He doesn't quite have the strength to stand independently yet, so we put Max in some knee immobilizers to help and he was able to stand for almost the whole session with the biggest smile on his face! Nothing warms the heart more than helping kids realize they can do new things! Can't wait to see what he can do this week!
Great work Max!
