Christina "Tina" Snyder, PTA
Tina, owner of PMC, completed her Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy at Carroll Community College and completed her Bachelor’s degree at University of Maryland. She performed clinical field work at Kennedy Kreiger Institute outpatient pediatrics and Kernan Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Hospital spinal cord injury unit, which ignited her passion to work with the pediatric population. Tina has been working in the physical therapy field for over 8 years in multiple clinical settings including outpatient pediatrics, outpatient adult orthopedics, and home health. She has experience treating adult and pediatric neurological conditions, athletic injuries, and medically complex diagnoses.
In recent years, Tina piqued an interest researching sensory integration and the role physical therapy can take in the treatment of sensory processing and related disorders. This research, along with a growing desire to treat her patients in a sensory rich, state of the art, and comforting environment, compelled Tina to open PMC’s doors in March of 2017. “I’m very proud of what PMC has become, and our team of staff here makes PMC a family.”
When not treating patients or greeting new friends at PMC, you’ll likely find Tina researching new equipment, techniques, and strategies to add at PMC to help children succeed with their rehabilitative goals. Tina is passionate about providing families with support, and helping children overcome obstacles to achieve new milestones. “I love breaking through to our kiddos in therapy sessions; when they achieve a new skill or communicate in a new way, I celebrate each accomplishment with them and it inspires that passion yet again!” Tina’s most important motivation is her three young boys (Michael, Mason & Maddox) who you may see swinging around at PMC, and her husband, Brian. She loves spending time with her family hiking, swimming, and going on family vacations..

Brian, co-owner of PMC, is also a firefighter for the City of Hagerstown and a BLS instructor for his own business, Snyder CPR and Safety Training. He is a Jack-of-all-Trades at PMC, assisting with equipment maintenance, office administration, and any other job that needs done.
When not at PMC, you’ll likely find Brian spending time with his three young boys (Michael, Mason & Maddox). The Snyder family loves spending time hiking, swimming, and going on family vacations.

Amy graduated from the University of Florida (GOOOOOO GATORS!!!) in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and has worked in the field for 20+ years, 16 of which were in orthopedics for 16 years, and 7 which were pediatric based. Before joining the PMC, Amy worked at CAO @ MMI. Having worked in a multitude of settings, I have a true appreciation for all things good about PMC. In Amy's words, "working for a therapist-owned private practice is truly a blessing. The focus is on the patient as well as their families and the goal is for the entire family to benefit from the services children receive at PMC." Amy's experience and skillset are a huge asset to PMC, and specifically, our Frederick clinic!
Amy "LOVES working in pediatrics." In her words, "it was a huge change for me to transition from adults to pediatrics, but I have never regretted the decision to switch. I love the challenges that each day brings and the personalities of all the kiddos I get to treat. They have changed my life and re-fueled my passion for physical therapy. Helping them to regain or achieve new skills is the best part of my job! My passion within pediatrics is still orthopedics. I love working with musculoskeletal injuries and getting kids back to their sports and/or recreational activities. I also love babies. My own kiddos are grown so getting to help the wee ones just warms my heart."
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family. Amy is the proud Mama of 4 children, Cade and Blake (who are away at college) and Peyton and Kenadie (who attend Tuscarora High School,) who are two sets of boy-girl twins...crazy! My favorite thing to do is watch them all play the sports they love. I love to travel to see our families, walk my big dog, Mack, with my husband, and play volleyball. I also enjoy spending time at the gym and reading.
Amy's favorite quote is: “May I never miss a rainbow or a sunset because I am looking down.”
In her words, Amy "believes in looking at the bright side and trying to enjoy each day as you are only given so many. Don’t sweat the small stuff!!!"
