Pediatric Movement Center's registered dietitian (RD) services provide medical nutrition therapy and general nutrition counseling. An RD can help with a variety of challenges such as: picky eating, nutrition for athletes, creating healthy eating habits, navigating food allergies/sensitivities, weight loss/weight gain and specific medical concerns.

Meet Emily!

Registered Dietitian

Emily Poole

  • Registered Dietitian

    Emily has a degree from Villanova University, and has over 23 years of dietetics experience. Emily is a Registered Dietitian, a Certified Personal Trainer, a level 2 NICA mountain biking coach, and is certified in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

     Outside of work, Emily loves to run, and walk her two labs. She has a chocolate lab named Charley and a black lab named Goose. She also loves mountain biking with her husband and two sons. Emily also loves cooking, baking and watching college basketball.

    Emily is passionate about helping folks understand that eating healthy isn't about cutting out your favorite foods. All foods fit and everything in moderation is key. It's all about balance! Also, small changes always add up. Welcome, Emily!

what to expect from my first visit?

The first visit with an RD will consist of sharing your medical history and what your goal’s are for the visit. Whatever your goals are, a dietitian will create a personalized plan to help you meet them. To understand the complete picture, you will be asked about your current nutrition intake. If you have labs, please bring them with you. The RD will look at your lifestyle, food preferences, past medical history, family history, and goals to better counsel you.


how many visits with the dietitian will you need?

Each patient’s needs are unique, so how often you meet with the RD will depend on your goals and needs.

Yes! We accept most insurances for nutrition therapy!
